Struggling with Reactivity?
-
Does your dog bark without stopping at every dog it sees?
-
Do they lunge and pull on the leash when they see another dog, car, or other trigger?
-
Do you avoid having friends over because of your dog?
-
Are your worried your dog will get loose and hurt another dog or person or get hurt themself?
You are not alone and you can help your dog learn to manage their emotions and take back your life.
Many people struggle with reactive dogs but are worried they don't have the time to work with their dog, don't have the money to afford a trainer or don't realize that it doesn't have to be like this.
An experienced trainer can help you get started with confidence. However, if you are not sure you are ready to work with a trainer but still would like some more information to get started helping your dog, send me a message and I will send you my free informational packet so you can get started with your dog. No spam, no newsletter, just information to help you learn more about what reactivity is and how you can help your dog.
Be wary of trainers who offer quick fixes or immediately suggest using tools like shock collars, slip leads or prong collars. Often quick fixes come at the price of your dog's mental health. Using pain or discomfort to "correct" a dog who is fearful will often make matters worse.
